These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Journ4X, a trading journal application available at journ4x.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Not Financial Advice

Journ4X is a journaling and analytics tool, not a financial advisor. Nothing in the Service — including statistics, insights, achievements, or any other feature — constitutes investment, trading, or financial advice. Trading futures and other financial instruments carries substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

2. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscription & Billing

Journ4X offers a free plan with limited trade logging, goals, and rules, and a paid "Pro" plan at $20/month with unlimited access.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel.
You can cancel your subscription at any time; you'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Free Plan Limits

The free plan is limited to a set number of logged trades, goals, and rules. We may adjust these limits at our discretion; any change will apply going forward and won't remove data you've already logged.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the trade data, notes, and screenshots you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store and display Your Content back to you as part of operating the Service. We do not use Your Content for any other purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

The Journ4X name, branding, and the Service's design and code are our property or that of our licensors. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what's needed to use the Service normally.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculations, statistics, or achievements are free of bugs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Journ4X is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including trading losses — arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
